If Ye Love Me - Thomas Tallis
All Saints Aston Church Choir
Recorded live during Evensong of July 10th 2022 at All Saints Church Aston. "If ye love me" is a four-part motet by the English composer Thomas Tallis, a setting of a passage from the Gospel of John. First published in 1565 during the reign of Elizabeth I, it is an example of Tudor music. An early English-language motet, it has been sung at special occasions including a papal visit and a royal wedding. © All Saints Aston Church Choir. Not to be copied or broadcast without permission.
